Disability Employment Support (DES)

Disability Employment Services (DES) helps people living with disability, injury or health condition to find and keep workWe are committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals - we offer tailored support and services to help participants build skills, find meaningful work, and maintain long-term employment.

We provide comprehensive support under the NDIS, including:

  • Workplace Readiness: Skill development in areas like communication, teamwork, time management, and workplace safety.
  • Job Search Assistance: Guidance on creating resumes, preparing for interviews, and finding roles that match your skills and interests.
  • On-the-Job Support: Ongoing assistance to ensure success in your role, including mentoring and coaching.

School Leavers Employment Support (SLES)

School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) is a program that helps people transition from school to work or further education. SLES is available to people who are in their final year of school or have recently left school, usually up to age 22.

SLES services can include: 

  • Training and mentoring 
  • Identifying skills and interests 
  • Resume preparation 
  • Work experience opportunities 
  • Interview skills training 
  • Time management 
  • Travel planning 
  • Assistance to find and maintain meaningful employment 
  • Improving communication and social skills
